In 2025, KMF will consistently reduce the environmental impact of its operations. Direct greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1) decreased by 13%, and indirect greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 2) by 21% compared to the previous year. Electricity consumption decreased by 10.8%, and heat energy consumption by 40.1%. The Bank is also systematically developing approaches to accounting for Scope 3 emissions for subsequent implementation in reporting.

As part of its green office principles, the Bank is developing electronic document management, waste separation practices in collaboration with its partner Econetwork, and annually recycles archived waste paper. In 2025, 22.5 tons of paper and 305.6 kg of plastic, aluminum, and glass were recycled. Emissions management is conducted in accordance with the IPCC GHG Protocol methodology.
