August 22 at 12:00 conference for women entrepreneurs within provision of annual Summer School of Political Leadership took place in Taraz. Organizers of the conference were: Public Association “Club of women politicians of Dzhambul Oblast” with the support of State Government Agency “Administration of internal policy of Akimat of Dzhambul oblast”, Commission for Women Affairs and Family-Demographic Issues under Akim of Dzhambul Region, Zhambyl Regional Branch “Nur Otan”, and Association of Business Women of Kazakhstan (ABW). The total number of participants was 70. Club of women politicians of Dzhambyl Oblast members, deputies of the regional, city and rayon maslikhats, representatives of 10 rayons of the oblast, representative of NGO’s, mass media participated in the conference. The branch of KMF in Taraz city was invited for provision of the separate session on financial literacy of population of the RK.
“It is obvious that women entrepreneurs always need additional knowledge, including family finances accounting. The session provided by us at the conference aroused high interest for financial literacy. We demonstrated the way of family budget rational use by showing real example of families, showed a scene and video about the project. Many participants of the conference told that they had not made family finances accounting earlier and they would definitely continue accounting and share with results,” – says Zhanara Akhmetova- business trainer of Taraz branch of MCO “KMF”. It should be noted that each representative of the conference during the conference addressed the most important and necessary issues in life of a woman. Leaflets and “Isker” Corporate Magazine were handed out to participants of the conference. Women entrepreneurs were also invited to open lessons on financial literacy. Within frame of close cooperation with the Association of Businesswomen number of meetings with entrepreneurs is planned to be delovered in future.
